This is one major advantage of Google's Blogger Blogs, the main thing about blogger is that it is easier for search engine optimization, the title you put for each blog will be the keywords, which when some one types into the search engine, your blog post will be seen.
For each post in Blogger Blogs you will find that keywords from some other post also get included in Google search engine.
For example, for my blog if you type Famous Birds of Sri Lanka, you will get to see my post " Famous Birds of India" third in Google search.Now I'll tell you that my post on Indian Birds does not contain Sri Lanka, but in a few other post I used Sri Lanka, hence even that showed up.I do not know how exactly to explain this as I do not have a term for this.
Also your photos that you put up to your Blogger Blog, are directly sent to your account in Picasa Web Albums and get indexed very fast, so people will be able to visit your Blog when they are searching for relevant images.
Also be reminded that you do not need to add Keywords Meta Tag, all you need to do is Put the Description Meta Tag for your Blog.
Now Google also Indexes Blogger Blogs very fast if you keep posting daily, which is very good for full time bloggers.
All these stuff you just cannot do in website SEO, so blogger blogs are better!
